Nigel Dennis
is a proposal pioneer in Australia and has arguably done more to shape the landscape of bidding professionalism in Australia than any other person in the region. He started the APMP Australia New Zealand Chapter, was the first Australian to achieve APMP Professional certification and is the only Australian APMP Fellow.

Nigel now runs BidWrite, a company he co-founded in 2008 and which is now Australia’s largest (by staff numbers) specialist bid consultancy. With degrees in engineering and business, and with bidding experience of 26 years, he is a strong advocate for development of the proposal profession.

In his spare time, Nigel has been a serial volunteer for local community and association committees. He has pared that activity down of late and so has more time to pursue his other interests of gardening, music, sport, and tinkering in his shed. He plays trombone in an 18-piece swing band (The Oz Big Band), still plays the odd game of cricket in summer and is a father to four boys.
