Today's guest is Rick Harris.
Rick is a senior-level association executive with more than 30 years of experience with notable achievements across multiple industries including professional and trade associations.
Rick's superiors and co-workers alike constantly applaud his ability to build strong, sustainable relationships and secure consensus among cross-functional team members for key initiatives. Most recently he has served as Executive Director of the MdTech Division, Tech Council of Maryland and the Executive Director, Tech Council of Maryland Foundation. His experience includes senior management roles working with both domestic and foreign economic development offices and boards to develop stategic plans and then execute that plan. Rick has been part of international business development teams for several associations. Rick is adept decision maker who strategizes operational frameworks to integrate and align with organization vision and objectives, fostering enhanced staff performance, achieving best practice, and maximizing revenues.
Rick lives in Washington DC with his partner of 10 years and has two children, Riley (17) and Ryder (16).
